Shrimp Salad Recipe

For this Shrimp Salad we recommend you use fresh cherry tomatoes or even a newer variety "grape" tomatoes which are starting to become more widely available.

The secret of making this a show-stopper lies in using tomatoes at their peak of freshness and flavor.

Preparation time: 10 - 30 Min.
Servings: first course dishes



• cherry or grape tomatoes
• shrimps (large)
• extra virgin olive oil
• fresh marjoram chopped fine
• balsamic vinegar
• salt and pepper to taste
• parsley sprigs for garnish



  1. cut the tomatoes in half
  2. Plunge shrimp into 3 quarts (3 liters) of rapidly boiling water and boil for 2 minutes. Drain and rinse with cold water.
  3. Peel and (optionally) devein the shrimp.
  4. Just before serving, combine the shrimp with the tomatoes, sprinkle with the herbs, add oil and vinegar, and salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Decorate with the parsley sprig.
