Shrimp Pasta Recipes
There are many Shrimp Pasta recipes which can cover a wide variety of tastes and styles.
Possibly the most basic of the possibilities is Shrimp Alfredo which you can prepare using linguine or fettuccine, according to your taste.
Bacon Alfredo: Crisp fry and crumble about
1 cup of bacon and add it to your sauce.
Florentine Alfredo Shrimp: Use about 1 1/2
cups of cooked fresh (or frozen) spinach, well drained
and add this to your sauce.
Basil Shrimp Alfredo: Add about 1/4 cup of
fresh shredded basil to the sauce.
Snow Pea Alfredo: Add one cup of cooked
young fresh peas to the sauce.
- Lemon Mushroom Alfredo: Sauté 2 cups of sliced mushrooms in 2 tablespoons of butter over a moderate heat for about 5 minutes. Drain and add them to your basic dish along with 2 tablespoons of lemon juice.
Instead of using fettuccine or linguine for Alfredo, or other pasta recipes, try substituting other varieties for different textures and appearances. You may discover that you or your family enjoys them even more. Here are a few to consider to create your own novel shrimp pasta recipes:
