Mexican Shrimp Cocktail Recipe
Usually when you think of shrimp cocktail, you probably imagine a few tiny shrimp in a bowl of cocktail sauce, right?
Think again! There are actually two different kinds of Shrimp Cocktail. There is the American version with plain boiled shrimp, usually served on ice or chilled, with cocktail sauce on the side. And then there is the Mexican shrimp cocktail!
This is a very quick and easy recipe that is also very healthy.
Mexican Shrimp Cocktail
• Pink shrimp (Penaeus
duorarum) come in a variety of colors, including
brownish pink and lemon yellow.
• About 2000 species of true shrimps are known.
• in biological terms prawns are of a distinct biological suborder of Decapoda.

Mexican Shrimp Cocktail Recipe Ingredients
| • | jumbo shrimp, fully cooked, cleaned and chilled | ||||
| • | of chilled tomato juice (8 fl.oz.or 230 ml cans) | ||||
| • | cucumbers, peeled and cubed | ||||
| • | chopped purple or red onion | ||||
| • | chopped cilantro | ||||
| • | avocados chopped | ||||
| • | Hot sauce to taste | ||||
| • | of ketchup | ||||
| • | limes or lemons juiced (or combine both for a unique taste!) |
