Grilling Shrimp preparation idea
Here we're going to present you with a Grilled Scampi Recipe which is just another way of saying, partly in Italian, and partly in English "Grilled Shrimp", although to be perfectly correct, scampi really means "Norwegian Lobster", but in popular usage had become so associated with shrimp in the US that most people don't know that there is a difference. (But now you do!)

Recipe Ingredients
| • | large shrimp, peeled and deveined with tail on. | ||||
| • | melted, unsalted butter. | ||||
| • | Olive oil | ||||
| • | sweet vermouth. | ||||
| • | Worchestershire sauce. | ||||
| • | cloves garlic, chopped coarsely. | ||||
| • | salt | ||||
| • | ground black peppercorns. |
Recipe Preparation
- Combine the shrimp and all the ingredients in a large bowl and thoroughly mix until well coated.
- Cover the bowl and leave to sit for 30 minutes in a cool place.
- Remove shrimp from bowl and place on a hot barbecue grill, for 2 minutes each side, using marinade to baste the shrimp as they cook.
- Serve, hot, as soon as they are cooked.
