Fish Stock Recipe
You can use Fish Stock in so many seafood recipes that knowing how to make it is a basic requisite. Fortunately it's simple.

2 lb. (1 kg) fish bones
3 qt. (3 l) water
½ cup (120 ml) chopped onion
½ cup (120 ml) chopped carrot
½ (120 ml) cup chopped celery
1 Tbsp. (15 ml) black peppercorns
4 bay leaves
- Rinse fish bones in hot water.
- Place all ingredients in 4-qt. saucepan; bring to a boil over high heat.
- Skim surface. Reduce heat to medium; simmer 20 minutes.
